“These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.” – Rumi

One of the funny things about Australian’s is we have the “it’ll be right” type of attitude – – which is ironic when there are some alarming health and fitness issues going on at the national (and even global) level.
If you get injured, it’ll be right.
If you have the “flu”, it’ll be right.
If you compromise your health by eating rubbish food over the holidays and start to get heartburn regularly, the attitude is the same, it’ll be right.
Reflect daily to pick up on any subtle clues your body, mind and spirit (subconscious) are sending out and then adjust your trajectory immediately – whether it be seeing an exercise coach to adjust your gym technique, setting up mindfulness triggers for nutrition habits to keep you on track, or even installing mindset resets at regular times in your life so that your confidence stays high, your attention is on point and nothing can distract you from what’s important.
Look at the pain straight on, work out what it’s telling you and then act. Pain is good when you know how to use it as feedback.
Here’s a good question to consider:
“What habits and behaviours am I doing, or beliefs am I following that are causing this pain?“
“What simple things can I do daily to fix this issue?”
Listen to what comes up.
Then act on it.
And that’s why pain is good.
